« For five years now, the LEPHE optimizes the training of elite athletes in order to improve their performances in competition. It develops new methods of medically supervising amateur athletes, to evaluate the drug effectiveness against myopathies, or to help obese people to lose weight”.


On the 16/04/2007, the president of the specialized scientific commission n°7, “Daniel Fagret, rendered a favourable opinion on the project and underlined the excellent position the team had worldwide.


On the 07/09/2007, the Integrated Biological Unit for Adaptations to Exercise (UBIAE) project, seen as bearer and original, receives a favourable opinion for a future setting up.


On the 04/10/2007, the creation of UBIAE is effective, as shown in the letter written by the Director of INSERM.
